As a Student Assistant, you won’t just be filing papers—you’ll be a valued team member supporting meaningful projects that impact daily operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide hands-on administrative and para-professional support to the HR office
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee file management
  • Prepare reports, draft correspondence, and support special HR projects
  • Gain exposure to real HR systems, policies, and procedures
  • Contribute to a team that values integrity, service, and excellence

What We’re Looking For:

  • A student currently enrolled in a college or university
  • Someone with high integrity, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications
  • Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage time effectively
  • Availability to work at least 4 days per week, 5–7 hours per day

Required Education and Experience

Alternate Education and Experience

Student Assistant positions cannot exceed 129 working hours in a calendar month and must be enrolled in at least six credit hours per term, providing proof of enrollment at the start of each term. Student Assistant appointments end the month in which the student graduates or is no longer enrolled in school. A Student Assistant position cannot exceed six years unless otherwise approved by Human Resources.
