Supplies Buyer Responsibilities: ·

Purchase supplies for manufacturing, office, maintenance, and safety for multiple manufacturing locations.

Maintaining budget for non-inventory items

Receives materials physically and in the ERP System (Microsoft Axapta) ·

Negotiate and search for best pricing

Maintain inventory of supplies

Balance priorities so that production is not shut down

Run cost saving projects

Run Continuous Improvement Projects

Required Skills/Experience:

• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (ie Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
• Strong and professional communication skills both verbal and written
• Accurate data entry skills
• Demonstrates effective time management skills and is well organized

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing
• Experience in the automotive industry Location
