Job Title: Business Analyst – Supply Chain Forecasting (Consumer Electronics)

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Employment Type: Contract – 12 Months

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team, focused 100% on Supply Chain Forecasting and Management for a complex and fast-paced consumer electronics business. This is not a logistics role — it’s a hands-on position requiring strong forecasting, planning, and Excel modeling skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop demand forecasts at both top-line and SKU level.
• Build and load supply plans into internal SCM systems.
• Perform basic promotion and ROI analysis to inform forecasting.
• Monitor and adjust inventory levels weekly.
• Own and manage PSI (Production, Sales, Inventory) at SKU level.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal, external, and central teams.
• Use Tableau for historical data review and reporting.
• Lead category calls to align on forecasts and inventory plans.

Work Expectations:

• High activity days : Thursday, Friday, and Monday mornings – mandatory presence.
• Weekend work : ~1 hour for GI cleanup (data adjustment/upload).
• Friday : Full workday (not a half-day).

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years in supply chain forecasting, inventory management, or business planning.
• Advanced Excel proficiency : Able to handle large files (30–40MB, 300–400 SKUs).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for solving complex business problems.
• Experience with promotion analysis , pricing , and ROI modeling .
• Hands-on experience in consumer electronics or mobile category is a plus.
• Familiarity with Tableau and SCM systems.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, candidates with extensive relevant experience will be considered even without a degree.
