Job Description
1. Inventory Management & ERP Control
- Record and maintain accurate inventory data in the ERP system, including local and imported stones and tiles.
- Verify inventory received from vendors and ensure correct documentation and system entry.
- Document and track all physical inventory operations, movements, and transfers between warehouses.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff for receiving, transferring, tagging, and processing inventory.
- Adjust inventory levels as required, including assembly entries, reconciliations, corrections, and internal transfers.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies or concerns to the department head.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and stock movement procedures.
2. Procurement & Logistics Operations
- Maintain records of shipments in transit and track inbound goods.
- Coordinate logistics for purchase orders, stock transfers, and deliveries.
- Assist in preparing customs clearance documentation and coordinate with clearing agents to ensure timely clearance of shipments.
- Maintain complete paperwork for all shipments.
- Validate and approve inbound stock shipments from Karachi and other locations with accurate documentation.
3. Inventory Planning & Control
- Manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking and stock shortages.
- Forecast supply and demand to ensure uninterrupted stock availability.
- Develop and implement effective inventory control systems and warehouse stock movement plans.
- Create inventory reports, stock analysis, and supply chain data for management review.
- Maintain and update material demand, purchase orders, and inventory records.
4. Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Procurement teams to align inventory and procurement activities with company objectives.
- Coordinate with the sales team to manage inventory availability and support sales targets.
- Resolve inventory-related queries from sales and operational teams.
- Ensure timely stock availability for projects and special requirements.
5. Pricing & Cost Support
- Assist the department head with standard and actual shipping and product cost analysis.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
2. Experience: upto 2-3 year of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related role is preferred.
3. Knowledge of computer, Microsoft office
