Supply Chain Manager

I&K Enterprises is seeking a strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end operations in the Cosmetics and FMCG sectors. We need a results-driven leader to develop robust SOPs, optimize supply chain processes, and drive commercial growth through cross-functional collaboration and seamless production management.

Job Purpose: The Role is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand and supply planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution. The role ensures uninterrupted production, cost efficiency, optimal inventory control, and timely delivery of finished goods while aligning supply chain strategy with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy, Leadership & Process Excellence

• Develop long-term supply chain strategies aligned with business growth plans.
• Establish KPIs and monitor performance metrics.
• Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs to standardize and optimize all supply chain processes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.
• Collaborate with Production, Finance, Sales, and Quality departments.
• Identify risks and develop contingency plans for supply disruptions.

2· Demand & Supply Planning

• Lead demand forecasting in coordination with Sales and Marketing teams.
• Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to align production capacity with market demand.
• Develop supply plans to ensure smooth production and customer fulfillment.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning systems.

3· Procurement & Vendor Development

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw materials and operational supplies.
• Identify, evaluate and develop new vendors or suppliers; negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to prevent production disruptions.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality compliance, and cost optimization.

4· Inventory & Warehouse Control

• Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Implement strong inventory control practices to minimize excess stock and stock-outs.
• Oversee warehouse operations, storage systems, material handling, and dispatch processes.
• Conduct regular stock audits and improve inventory turnover.

5· Logistics & Distribution

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure cost-effective transportation.
• Optimize distribution networks to improve service levels and reduce costs.
• Monitor delivery performance (OTIF – On Time in Full).
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and transport partners.

Qualification:
· BBA/MBA degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, or Business Administration.

Experience:

• 10–15 years of experience in Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or large-scale manufacturing sectors.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or managerial role
• Location: Plant (Preferred) with periodic visits to Head Office
