Supply Chain Officer

About the Role:
Alpha Corporation is seeking a dynamic and proactive Supply Chain Officer to manage the complete import and supply chain process, from coordinating with the local clients to ensuring successful international procurement and delivery. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of import logistics, documentation, vendor coordination, and operational planning, with the confidence to work independently and take initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the A–Z import process, including supplier communication, shipping coordination, customs clearance, and delivery follow-ups.
• Manage local client orders and initiate their import process from start to finish.
• Liaise with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents to ensure smooth and timely shipments.
• Prepare and manage all import-related documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, Form-I, insurance, EIF, etc.).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, logistics partners, and agents.
• Track shipments, resolve logistical issues proactively, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to streamline operations.

Keep organized records of procurement data, shipment schedules, and supplier performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in import logistics and supply chain coordination.
• Strong understanding of local import procedures, documentation, and logistics operations.
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel).
