Supply Chain Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

• Perform spending analysis and prepare a baseline for cost savings.


• Conduct a gap analysis and recommend actions to management to enhance workflow, aiming for improved performance and productivity compared to the current process.


• Conduct a market analysis on new suppliers entering the market, supplier bankruptcies, changes in statutory regulations, shifts in supply and demand, and the current economic conditions within the industry, and suggest management initiatives with recommended areas for targeted achievements.


• Analyze the current criteria for selecting suppliers and measuring performance and suggest improved metrics or criteria.


• Manage logistics pipeline between supplier and customer by manipulating and analyzing raw data from numerous sources.


• Control logistics process and develop strategies to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.


• Educate and consult with customers to increase service, meet expectations, and encourage developing markets through open communications and by developing trusting relationships.


• Initiate, lead, and participate in cross-functional, cross-business initiatives.


• Ensure the correction of discrepancies related to inventory, invoicing, and shipments.


• Observe and evaluate supply chain operations and provide recommendations that enhance the company's success.


• Check clinic inventories, build relationships with colleagues, build orders, and direct the logistics.


• Enhance logistics and ensure that customers receive supplies on time. They are required to take timely orders and make reports about the deliveries and payments received.


• Maintain an efficient workplace; it is essential to keep the environment organized to facilitate the smooth execution of activities and minimize the potential for confusion or errors.


• Monitor the inventory in a timely manner and make sure that the correct quantities of all the products are available to be delivered to the designated facility.


Education Requirements:

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any related field.

Experience Requirements:

Three (3) years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a dialysis or hospital setting. One (1) year of experience with a Master’s Degree, preferably in a dialysis or hospital setting.

Other Requirements:

Certified International Supply Chain Professional (CISCP) is an advantage. Certified Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA) is an advantage.
