SUPPLY & STOCK CONTROLLER

Role Summary

The Supply & Stock Controller acts as a key guardian of the procurement and inventory process, ensuring stock integrity and operational efficiency. This role prevents revenue loss from stockouts and avoids capital being tied up in overstock, while maintaining accurate and reliable inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor real-time stock levels and establish automated or manual reorder points based on historical data, consumption patterns, and supplier lead times.

· Audit and approve purchase requests from Purchasing Assistants to prevent over-ordering or under-ordering.

· Minimize inventory waste through strict FIFO (First-In-First-Out) practices and regular stock rotation audits.

· Manage inventory turnover ratios to optimize warehouse utilization and maintain liquidity.

· Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile physical stock with system records, maintaining 99%+ stock accuracy.

· Analyze supply chain lead times and adjust safety stock levels dynamically to ensure consistent product availability.

Requirements

· Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

· Experience: 2–5 years in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.

· Skills:

o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

o Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP, WMS, or similar)

o Analytical and problem-solving skills

o Familiarity with FIFO, stock rotation, and inventory reconciliation practices

Preferred Skills

· Experience in FMCG, retail, or distribution environments

· Ability to coordinate across procurement, warehouse, and finance teams

· Process improvement and reporting experience

KPIs / Success Metrics

· Stock accuracy rate (99%+ target)

· Inventory turnover and wastage reduction

· Timely approval of purchase requests

· Reduction of overstock / stockout incidents

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
