Koç University’s Office of Sustainability (KUOS) seeks a Sustainability Operations Specialist to support the university’s growing sustainability agenda. KUOS works to integrate sustainability across research, teaching, and campus life, fostering a culture of environmental and social responsibility. This temporary position focuses on project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and communication support for KUOS initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of KUOS projects and events.

• Coordinate logistics for seminars, workshops, and awareness campaigns promoting sustainability and equality.

• Manage KUOS communication materials, including website updates, newsletters, and reports.

• Assist in collecting and analyzing data for sustainability tracking and internal reporting.

• Collaborate with university departments, student groups, and external partners to advance KUOS initiatives.

• Provide administrative and logistical support for grants, collaborations, and documentation.

• Contribute to community engagement activities and promote participation in sustainability programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental studies, engineering, social sciences, or a related field.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

• Familiarity with sustainability research, data reporting, and campus operations is an asset.

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

• Interest in scientific and technological developments in the field of sustainability.

• Experience working in an academic or research environment is a plus.
