Job Summary

The Tagging Assistant is responsible for labeling, tagging, and identifying steel bundles or finished products according to production specifications. This role supports accurate inventory management, traceability, and smooth loading operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Attach tags/labels to steel bundles as per production or dispatch instructions.
• Ensure correct details such as size, grade, batch number, and weight are recorded.
• Coordinate with quality and production teams to verify product specifications.
• Maintain accurate tagging logs and update records.
• Assist in organizing finished products in the storage area.
• Report any discrepancies in product identification or tagging information.
• Ensure safe working practices and proper handling of tagging tools/equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the tagging and dispatch area.

Requirements

• Basic education; experience in industrial environments preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in steel production, warehouse, or logistics operations is an advantage.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in hot industrial environments.
• Strong attention to detail to avoid labeling errors.
