SUMMARY
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a vital role in our manufacturing plant by managing the full recruitment lifecycle for various hourly positions. This role involves sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to support the plant’s operational goals. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with the HRBP Talent Acquisition to manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly manufacturing roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Food Safety
Responsible and required to notify management about actual or potential food safety issues; and empowered to act to resolve food safety issues within their scope of work. If this position is vacant for any significant period of time the obligation for completion of all food safety and quality related tasks will become the responsibility of the direct manager or a qualified designee.

Skills/ Knowledge:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist should possess a strong understanding of recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and employment laws, with a focus on the manufacturing industry. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential for building relationships with candidates and hiring managers. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, coupled with strong networking and relationship-building skills, is crucial.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software is required. Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for reporting and communication purposes is essential. Experience with social media platforms and recruitment marketing tools is advantageous for promoting the company's employer brand and attracting top talent.
Certificates and Licenses:
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus. Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential from SHRM or HRCI, focusing on recruitment and talent acquisition strategies, is beneficial. LinkedIn Certified Professional is preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) or High school diploma or associate degree with 3+ years equivalent relevant experience in a manufacturing environment required.
