Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4-Day Work Week (40 hours/week)

Salary: $72,000/year + discretionary quarterly bonuses

What You Will Do

Client Relations

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the resolution process
• Explain tax resolution strategies, options, and progress in clear terms
• Maintain regular client communication to keep cases moving and clients informed

IRS Representation and Case Management

• Communicate with IRS personnel by phone, correspondence, and e-Services
• File and manage resolution programs including Currently Not Collectible (CNC) status, installment agreements, innocent spouse relief petitions, and offers in compromise
• Remove or resolve IRS garnishments, levies, and federal tax liens
• Prepare and submit required financial documentation (Forms 433-A, 433-B, 433-F)
• Handle IRS compliance calls and respond to notices

Workflow and Team Coordination

• Manage a caseload of 85 to 100 active cases with consistent tracking and documentation
• Accurately track time spent on each case
• Ensure all IRS and internal deadlines are met
• Delegate administrative tasks to support staff and direct engagement managers to advance case resolutions
• Collaborate with management and sales teams

Required Qualifications

• Active Enrolled Agent (EA) designation in good standing with the IRS; or active CPA license with a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• 3 to 5 years of direct experience in IRS tax resolution (collection, examination, and/or appeals)
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume caseloads (85 to 100 active cases)
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets), Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat Pro/Standard DC
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work onsite at our Rockwall, TX office Monday through Thursday
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check consistent with applicable law

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tax software platforms such as Canopy Tax, Pitbull Tax, or Intuit ProConnect
• Experience preparing individual and business tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065, 940, 941, 1099)
• Familiarity with Apple/macOS operating systems

Working Conditions

This is an onsite position at our Rockwall, TX office. The role requires the ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and video conferencing, and to use standard office equipment including a computer, phone, and printer.
