Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and committed Computer Science Teacher to join our Academics Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science education, experience in teaching students across different grade levels, and the ability to foster problem-solving, logical thinking, and digital creativity in learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons aligned with the school’s STEM-focused curriculum for all grade levels.
• Teach a range of CS topics, including computer fundamentals, programming, databases, web technologies, and emerging trends in technology.
• Develop students’ computational thinking, coding, and problem-solving skills through interactive, hands-on, and project-based learning.
• Encourage innovation, creativity, and critical thinking through real-world applications of technology.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and future-ready classroom environment that supports students’ confidence in digital literacy.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Prepare lesson plans, learning resources, and digital content to enhance classroom instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects integrating CS with other STEM subjects.
• Effectively use technology and modern teaching tools (e.g., coding platforms, simulations, educational apps) to enrich student learning.
• Maintain classroom discipline through effective management strategies and positive reinforcement.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and educational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Education (CS), or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience in Computer Science (preferably across multiple grade levels).
• Strong knowledge of computer science pedagogy and student-centered teaching methods.
• Proficiency in programming languages, digital tools, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students and parents.
• Ability to create innovative and student-friendly learning environments.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• Familiarity with modern educational technologies and learning management systems.
