Teacher (Toddler )

Overview
We are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Child Care Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting young children’s growth and development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

In this role, you will plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. You will create a structured yet creative classroom atmosphere where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to explore and learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
• Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play
• Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental progress
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding progress and concerns
• Collaborate with staff to maintain consistency in curriculum and classroom management
• Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous experience working with young children (preferred)
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
