Team Lead – MERN Stack & Blockchain Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead (MERN + Blockchain) to lead our development team in building scalable, secure, and high-performance blockchain-based web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) along with hands-on experience in blockchain technologies, smart contract development, and Web3 integrations.

The candidate will play a key leadership role in architecting solutions, mentoring team members, ensuring code quality, and driving timely project delivery in collaboration with cross-functional departments.

Key Responsibilities:Technical Leadership:

• Lead and oversee the design, development, and deployment of applications using MERN stack and Blockchain technologies.
• Architect scalable systems with modular and maintainable code structures.
• Review code, enforce coding standards, and conduct technical audits to ensure best practices.
• Design and integrate smart contracts (Solidity, Web3.js, ethers.js) into web applications.
• Implement and manage APIs, wallets, tokens, NFTs, and blockchain data structures.

Team & Project Management:

• Supervise and mentor a team of front-end, back-end, and blockchain developers.
• Allocate tasks, manage sprints, and ensure on-time project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with designers, QA engineers, and product managers to define requirements and development goals.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and code retrospectives.

Innovation & Optimization:

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies in blockchain and full-stack development.
• Identify and implement performance improvements, scalability strategies, and security best practices.
• Contribute to the company’s technical roadmap and propose innovative solutions aligned with business goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Deep understanding of Blockchain fundamentals, Web3.js, ethers.js, and Solidity.
• Experience with Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC), or other EVM-compatible chains.
• Knowledge of smart contract deployment, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155), and wallet integrations.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud deployments (AWS/DigitalOcean).
• Strong database management experience (MongoDB, MySQL).

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of professional development experience, including at least 1–2 years in a leadership or senior developer role.
• Proven experience delivering blockchain-based web platforms or crypto-related projects (DeFi, NFT, Exchange, Wallet, etc.).
