Overview:
To lead utility operations team and train/develop them to perform their job effectively.
Responsibilities:
The overall management of Utilities operations team to ensure round the clock smooth operation of utilities.

The required candidate should have sound hands-on experience on Operation & Maintenance of following Utilities;

Steam Boiler (Bosch)

Air Compressors & Refrigerant Dryers (Atlas Copco)

Electricity Diesel Generators (Cummins)
-
Bumpless Synchronization System (Deep Sea)
-
Burners (Weishaupt)
-
N2 Plant Compressors, Desiccant Dryers & Generators (Gardner Denver)
-
Electrical & Absorption Chillers (Trane, LG)
-
Process Water Deep Well Turbines, RO Treatment & Process Pumping
-
Steam & Electrical Dehumidifiers
-
Air Handling Units
-
LPG Vaporizers
-
Waste Water Treatment Plant
-
Fire Fighting Water Pumps & Sprinkler System

Lead maintenance activities on Boilers/burners.
-
In liaison with Team Lead Utility Maintenance & ROF, plan and support execution of annual equipment turn around & intermittent shutdowns of utilities equipment.

Keep Operational SOPs of utilities equipment updated in line with OEM guidelines.

Ensure history records are developed and maintained for every equipment on regular basis in addition to all the engineering related data which may include utility, breakdowns & OEM data, etc.

Regular logging & analysis of breakdowns & implementing improvements / CA identified

Track daily utilities consumption data and ensure accurate reporting.

Align the OEM parties for the service of major utility equipment like compressor, gensets, etc with cost effectiveness.

Develop engineering contractors to support plant maintenance and project activities.
-
Annual planning and controlling of Cost of Utilities by optimizing utilities operation.

Completion of jobs identified by HSE, Food Safety & Quality departments & maintains the facilities as per PI standards for these disciplines.

Supporting projects & sustainability managers in planning & commissioning phases.

Keep a record of items/spares required (both in short & long terms) to ensure reliable operation of utilities.

Optimize ROL, specification of spares as per OEM guidelines.
-
Properly maintain engineering drawings & technical brochures.
-
The total management of administration issues: leaves, overtime, duty roaster, safety inspections.
-
Target setting, Performance development reviews & arrangement of Trainings for all the sub ordinates.
-
Implementation of 5 S, AIB, Food Safety and EHS requirements in utilities areas.

Keep connection with Govt. utility & other concerned departments to be updated on expected changing’s & load shedding to manage accordingly.

Apart from the above, employee is expected to perform other accountabilities, time to time assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
Knowledge/Skill
Bachelor's degree in Utilities or Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering with 5 years' experience or B-Tech (Engineering)/A Class Boiler Engineer with 15 years of experience.
Experience
10 to 15 years in a similar capacity
Minimum 3 years FMCG experience
