Technical Engineer (Lighting)

About the Role

We are hiring a Technical Engineer who will provide expert technical support for lighting products, assist in project design, conduct site visits, and resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of lighting systems and hands-on experience in installation and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for lighting products (LED lamps, panels, outdoor fixtures, etc.)
• Prepare lighting design layouts, BOQs, and technical proposals
• Conduct site surveys, installation supervision, and troubleshooting
• Support the sales team with technical presentations and product demos
• Train clients, dealers, and internal staff on product usage and specifications
• Ensure compliance with lighting standards and safety guidelines
• Maintain documentation and prepare technical reports
• Collaborate with product managers for improvements and feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• 2–4 years of experience in lighting or electrical engineering roles
• Knowledge of lighting design software (Dialux, Relux, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and technical diagnostic skills
• Good communication and customer-handling abilities
• Willingness to travel for project support
