This role blends technical leadership, program governance, financial management, and client engagement, and is ideal for a leader who can drive outcomes across delivery, innovation, and pre-sales.

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in DevOps and SRE principles, a strong track record in managing complex transformation programs, and the ability to partner with clients, sales, and delivery teams to create measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of DevOps and SRE transformation programs for enterprise customers.

  • Define program objectives, milestones, success metrics, and governance models in collaboration with client and internal stakeholders.

  • Ensure program delivery aligns with organizational goals, contractual commitments, and budgetary constraints.

  • Identify program risks, dependencies, and constraints; proactively design and execute mitigation strategies.

  • Track program performance, KPIs, and outcomes, providing regular executive-level updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.

Technical & Strategic Oversight

  • Provide technical direction and strategic guidance to DevOps and SRE teams, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and UST standards.

  • Drive optimization of software development, deployment, and operations workflows using automation, CI/CD, and cloud-native approaches.

  • Champion SRE practices including observability, reliability engineering, incident management, and continuous improvement.

  • Promote innovation through adoption of emerging DevOps and SRE tools, platforms, and methodologies.

Financial & Stakeholder Management

  • Own program financials, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and margin improvement initiatives.

  • Foster strong collaboration and transparency across cross-functional teams, ensuring accountability and high performance.

  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership.

Pre-Sales & Business Enablement

  • Partner with sales and solutioning teams to understand client needs and design tailored DevOps and SRE solutions.

  • Participate in client presentations, proposals, and technical demonstrations, articulating the business value of UST’s offerings.

  • Support RFP/RFI responses, including solution architecture, effort estimation, and delivery planning.

  • Engage with prospective clients to assess transformation readiness and provide consultative guidance on DevOps and SRE journeys.

  • Ensure alignment between client expectations, solution design, and delivery capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.

  • 15+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years in a managerial or program leadership role.

  • Proven success in managing large-scale DevOps and SRE transformation programs in enterprise environments.

  • Strong expertise in program management, including planning, execution, risk management, and financial governance.

  • Hands-on understanding of Agile delivery models (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).

  • Deep knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud platforms.

  • Solid understanding of SRE principles, including monitoring, incident response, SLAs/SLOs, and reliability engineering.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive levels.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a results-oriented mindset.

  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, ITIL, Agile/Scrum, or technical certifications are highly desirable.

  • Prior experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting roles within the IT services industry is a strong advantage.
