About the Role

We are a Microsoft-focused technology consultancy delivering custom application development, Azure cloud migrations, and generative AI solutions to clients in the US and beyond. We are hiring a Technical Project Manager to lead our Lahore-based offshore delivery team and own end-to-end execution across concurrent client engagements.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can bridge US client expectations and offshore execution, run disciplined delivery, and stay close enough to the technology to make sound calls on scope, risk, and quality. You will be the operational backbone that keeps projects on time, on budget, and aligned to client outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Own the full delivery lifecycle for multiple concurrent projects spanning custom app development, Azure migrations, and Gen AI builds — from kickoff through deployment and handover. Manage and coordinate the offshore engineering team (developers, cloud engineers, data/AI specialists), including task allocation, capacity planning, and daily standups across time zones. Serve as the primary delivery point of contact for US-based clients and stakeholders, running status reviews, managing expectations, and translating business requirements into clear technical workstreams. Build and maintain project plans, sprint backlogs, Gantt charts, and resource/hours estimates; track progress against scope, timeline, and budget. Manage scope, change requests, risks, and dependencies proactively; escalate early and propose mitigation. Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) and adapt process to fit fixed-fee and time-and-materials engagements. Partner with technical leads on solution decisions, effort estimation, and SOW/proposal inputs. Enforce delivery quality, documentation standards, and client reporting cadence. Coordinate across the US–Pakistan time gap to ensure smooth handoffs and overlap for critical communication windows.

What You Bring

Required

• 4–5 years of experience managing technical projects and offshore/distributed engineering teams. Demonstrated delivery of software development and/or cloud projects, ideally in a consulting or services environment serving overseas (US/EU) clients. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (cloud migrations, app services, Azure AI / OpenAI) sufficient to lead technical conversations and assess risk. Strong grounding in Agile/Scrum and modern project management. Excellent written and spoken English; able to communicate confidently with US clients and senior stakeholders. Proven ability to manage scope, budget, and competing priorities across multiple simultaneous engagements. Comfortable working hours that overlap with US (Pacific) time zones as needed.

Preferred

• Hands-on or prior technical background (development, cloud engineering, or data/AI) before moving into project management. Exposure to generative AI / LLM projects (RAG, Azure AI Foundry, prompt engineering, AI agents). Experience with custom application development across web, integration, and Power Platform / M365. PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Microsoft Azure certifications. Experience writing or contributing to SOWs, proposals, and effort/hours estimates.
