Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Contract Recruiter
with a strong background in
aerospace, satellite, and space vehicle programs
to support our growing teams in Louisville, Colorado. This is a
six-month onsite contract position
, where the selected individual will partner closely with hiring managers and program leadership to identify, attract, and hire highly specialized engineering and technical talent supporting national security and space-related initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings deep familiarity with recruiting within the aerospace and space industry, understands the technical skill sets required for satellite systems and space vehicle development, and has demonstrated success recruiting cleared or highly specialized talent in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruiting for aerospace and space systems roles, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer development, and onboarding support.

Partner with hiring managers, program leadership, and HR to understand workforce needs across satellite, spacecraft, and space vehicle programs.

Proactively source candidates with experience in areas such as satellite systems engineering, spacecraft development, mission operations, avionics, guidance, navigation and control (GNC), and related aerospace disciplines.

Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to identify talent within the aerospace, defense, and space sectors.

Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future program needs.

Evaluate candidate qualifications, technical backgrounds, and cultural fit for highly specialized roles.

Support recruitment of candidates who may require security clearances or have experience working in classified environments.

Coordinate closely with recruiting operations to ensure compliance with company policies, federal contracting requirements, and hiring processes.

Provide regular status updates and recruiting metrics to hiring managers and leadership.

Represent the organization professionally in candidate interactions and ensure a high-quality candidate experience.
Qualifications
-
BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5

5+ years of recruiting experience, with significant focus on aerospace, defense, satellite, or space vehicle programs.

Demonstrated experience recruiting for highly technical roles such as aerospace engineers, systems engineers, satellite engineers, software engineers, and mission support roles.

Strong understanding of the aerospace and space industry talent landscape.

Experience supporting programs that require security clearances is highly preferred.

Ability to work onsite in Louisville, Colorado for the duration of the contract.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Proven ability to source and engage passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience recruiting for spacecraft, satellite systems, or launch vehicle programs.

Experience supporting national security space or defense-related programs.

Familiarity with recruiting within government contracting environments.

Experience working with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter and industry networks.

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
