Technical Sales Executive

Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an enthusiastic technical sales executive to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be required to source new customers and business contacts, demonstrate the technical features of our products and maintain strong customer relations.

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities by researching and prospecting potential clients, generating leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis and assessments to understand customer requirements, and provide technical expertise and guidance on our products and services to address their specific needs.
  • Present and demonstrate our technical products and services to clients, highlighting key features and benefits, and articulating how they can address customer challenges and improve their business operations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and technical experts to develop and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and solution demonstrations that align with customer needs and requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale to close deals and secure new business opportunities, while ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and new technologies to anticipate customer needs and proactively identify opportunities for product enhancements or new offerings.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics through effective pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and regular reporting on sales activities, opportunities, and results.

Required Skills

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the products and services being sold, along with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, establish trust, and develop long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to understand customer needs, identify solutions, and recommend appropriate products or services.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in sales tools for pipeline management, reporting, and sales forecasting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a technical field or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proven experience in technical sales.
  • Familiarity with a range of technical products and services, with the ability to quickly acquire product knowledge.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, including consultative selling and solution selling approaches.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license .
