YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Technical Solutions Business Developer

  • Actively acquire new customers by developing trust-based relationships with key stakeholders in utilities and Oil & Gas, and initiating strategic conversations that lead to new opportunities.
  • Lead conversations with decision makers to uncover operational pain points and translate these into actionable input for internal experts, ensuring all proposals align with customer objectives and constraints.
  • Co-create tailored technical solutions in close collaboration with Laborelec s subject matter experts, acting as the customer s voice throughout the solution design process.
  • Promote long-term value by prioritizing sustainable partnerships over short-term wins and by delivering solutions with real business impact.
  • Position and promote Laborelec s services like Asset Management, Boilers & HRSG, Root Cause Analysis, Vibration Monitoring, Desalination & RO, Condition Monitoring, and Battery Storage across the region.
  • Manage the entire commercial process from prospecting to contract negotiation.

YOUR PROFILE as a Technical Solutions Business Developer

Education & Experience: Engineering degree with at least 5 years of experience in the energy or utilities sector. Having experience in operations, maintenance, or technical roles is a plus.

Consultative mindset : focused on understanding customer challenges and co-developing impactful solutions.

Technical Credibility : Ability to discuss technical topics and propose relevant solutions.

Communication : Strong interpersonal skills and fluent English speaker.

Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently within the UAE and selected Asian countries.
