We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join our Aha! Automotive Innovations LLP team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling installation, troubleshooting, and post-sales support for both walk-in and on-call customers. This role involves providing hands-on assistance, diagnosing technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the company’s quality standards in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation and setup of Aha! NexCruise devices for walk-in customers at the service center.
- Provide remote assistance and technical guidance to customers during self-installation over calls, video calls, or chat support.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues related to NexCruise installation or performance.
- Manage after-sales support, including handling customer complaints, warranty claims, and service requests efficiently.
- Maintain installation and service logs, customer feedback records, and escalate unresolved issues to the product development or technical team when necessary.
- Conduct testing and verification of devices before and after installation to ensure optimal functionality.
- Educate customers on product features, usage guidelines, and maintenance tips to enhance user experience.
- Coordinate with the Sales, R&D, and Logistics teams for replacement, updates, or product improvements based on customer feedback.
- Ensure timely response and resolution of all support cases while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
- 0–3 years of experience in technical support, customer service, or automotive electronics installation preferred.
- Strong understanding of vehicle electronics, wiring, and ECU-based systems.
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to diagnose issues logically and communicate technical information clearly to customers.
- Familiarity with using tools like multimeters, diagnostic equipment, and mobile troubleshooting apps.
- Self-motivated, customer-oriented, and capable of working independently or within a small team.
Good to have Qualities:
- Prior experience in automotive accessory installation or connected car devices (e.g., cruise control, GPS trackers, telematics).
- Knowledge of OBD-based systems and vehicle CAN communication protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving attitude and a focus on delivering top-notch customer satisfaction.
