About the Division:


Al-Ghazi Tractors Limited , the subsidiary company of Al-Futtaim group of Dubai, is a story of rollicking success. With consistent corporate achievements, the company is recognized for corporate excellence and “Best Corporate Performance”.


With its Corporate office in Lahore, the AGTL plant at Dera Ghazi Khan, manufactures New Holland (Fiat) tractors in technical collaboration with CNHI - Case New Holland, the Number One manufacturer of agricultural tractors in the world. The AGTL plant, an icon of engineering dynamics operates on high efficiency. With Quality Control and Quality Assurance, quality improvement systems exist at every level. Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Tractor Mechanic with expertise in Lab Testing and component trials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and evaluating tractor components, conducting lab testing trials, diagnosing mechanical/Electrical issues, and assisting in the homologation process to ensure components meet industry standards.


What you will do?


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain PTO, engine, and transmission test beds for tractor testing.
  • Conduct performance tests, durability assessments, and diagnostics.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in testing setups.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in tractors.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot engine, transmission, and hydraulic system problems .
  • Maintain records of tests, trials, and repairs .
  • Work closely with the R&D and Quality Control teams
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Assembly and dismantling of various tractor systems based on testing and prototyping requirements.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Technical background in mechanical, automotive, or agricultural engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with test beds, dynamometers, and instrumentation .
  • Ability to analyze test results and provide insights.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and safety-conscious mindset.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Matric/Middle (Science)
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in tractor mechanics, field applications, or testing.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of tractor engines, hydraulics, transmission, and testing procedures.
  • Field Testing Skills: Hands-on experience in evaluating tractors under different conditions.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues effectively.
  • Homologation Knowledge: Familiarity with component certification and regulatory compliance.
  • Physical Fitness: Must be able to work in outdoor/indoor conditions.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with different tractor brands and models.
  • Knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
