Tekla Modeller

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tekla Modeller to support structural steel estimation and detailing activities. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D models, extracting quantities for tendering, preparing fabrication/shop drawings, and coordinating with engineering, production, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Estimation Support

• Prepare concept / tender-level Tekla models based on IFC, tender drawings, and specifications
• Extract accurate BOQs, steel tonnage, bolt quantities, and material take-offs from Tekla
• Support the estimation and commercial team during tender and post-tender (BAFO) stages
• Identify missing information, scope gaps, and constructability risks at tender stage
• Assist in value engineering proposals and alternative detailing solutions

2. Detailing & Modeling

• Develop fully detailed Tekla models for fabrication and erection
• Prepare shop drawings, GA drawings, assembly drawings, and single part drawings
• Apply project-specific standards, client specifications, and connection details
• Model connections, bolts, welds, plates, stiffeners, and secondary steel
• Ensure drawings are fabrication-ready and compliant with approved calculations
