Ticketing Manager – Hajj & Umrah Travel Agency (Responsibilities)
- Manage all airline ticketing operations for Hajj and Umrah packages
- Handle flight bookings, reissues, cancellations, and refunds using GDS systems (e.g., Galileo, Amadeus)
- Coordinate with airlines to secure the best fares and group bookings for pilgrims traveling to Makkah and Madinah
- Ensure accurate fare calculations, ticket issuance, and compliance with airline policies
- Monitor seat availability and manage travel schedules for group departures
- Supervise ticketing staff and ensure high-quality service and accuracy in all transactions
- Resolve ticketing-related issues, including last-minute changes and emergency bookings
- Maintain strong relationships with airline representatives and travel partners
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all ticketing transactions
- Stay updated with airline rules, fare structures, and industry regulations
- Work closely with sales and operations teams to align ticketing with package offerings
- Prepare reports on ticket sales, cancellations, and revenue performance
Requirements / Skills
- Proven experience in airline ticketing or travel agency operations
- Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre)
- Strong knowledge of international travel rules and fare construction
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage teams and work under pressure, especially during peak Hajj seasons
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
