GCL is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Timekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately tracking and recording work hours of construction personnel, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and supporting payroll processing. Your meticulous attention to detail will contribute to the efficient operation of our projects.

Responsibilities
  • Time Tracking
    • Monitor and record daily work hours for all construction personnel.
    • Verify and reconcile timesheets to ensure accuracy.
  • Payroll Support
    • Assist in processing payroll by providing accurate time data.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations regarding work hours and overtime pay.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain and update attendance records and timesheets.
    • Provide regular reports on employee attendance, tardiness, and productivity to management.
  • Compliance & Communication
    • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and labor laws.
    • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding time-related inquiries.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Timekeeper or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to construction work hours.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in payroll or timekeeping are a plus.
