Position Summary

The Tour Guide Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising tour guide operations to ensure smooth, engaging, and professional tour experiences. This role acts as the key link between tour guides, clients, and management, ensuring that all tours run efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign tour guides based on daily bookings and client requirements
• Coordinate tour logistics including timing, routes, transportation, and special requests
• Ensure all tour guides are properly briefed before assignments
• Monitor tour quality and ensure consistency in service delivery
• Handle last-minute changes, cancellations, or emergencies efficiently
• Maintain communication with clients to confirm tour details and expectations
• Train and support tour guides to improve performance and customer experience
• Maintain records of tours, feedback, and operational reports
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams for special tours and group bookings
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, or coordination roles preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to handle pressure and solve problems quickly
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Familiarity with Qatar’s tourism sites is an advantage
