We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Travel & Tour Operation Strategist with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of travel operations, destination management, and customer-centric service design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement tour packages, travel plans, and itineraries tailored to diverse customer needs.
- Manage day-to-day travel operations, including bookings, vendor coordination, and service delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing team to promote seasonal packages.
- Use tourism management software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo etc. to manage reservations, client profiles, and reporting.
- Maintain strong relationships with local and international travel suppliers, hotels, guides, and transport providers.
- Monitor market trends and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure all operations comply with visa regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot travel-related issues and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze travel data and prepare performance reports to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Provide training or guidance to junior team members on operational procedures and tools.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in travel and tour operations or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of travel planning, destination management, and tour logistics.
- Proficient in using key tourism industry software such as: Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with travel regulations, insurance, visa processes, and safety protocols.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple bookings at once
- Good communication skills (for internal coordination)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or reservation software
