Towing Dispatcher

Position Summary
Metro Motor is seeking a skilled and reliable Towing Dispatcher with at least 1 year of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and familiar with the Virginia, DC, and Maryland region. As a dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating towing operations, assigning jobs to drivers, and ensuring timely and efficient service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and requests for towing services promptly and professionally.
• Dispatch towing and roadside assistance calls to drivers based on location, availability, and urgency.
• Monitor driver locations and job statuses using GPS and dispatch software.
• Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, jobs, and customer interactions.
• Prioritize multiple calls in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high-quality customer service.
• Provide drivers with accurate directions and location details within the Virginia, DC, and Maryland region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of dispatching experience (towing industry preferred).
• Strong knowledge of the Virginia, DC, and Maryland area.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Basic computer and GPS/dispatch software proficiency.
• Flexible schedule; availability for evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
