- Handle cashless admission requests for insured patients
- Verify patient insurance details, policy coverage, and eligibility
- Submit pre-authorization requests to TPAs/insurance companies
- Follow up regularly to obtain timely approvals
- Collect and prepare required documents (ID proof, insurance card, medical records, estimates, discharge summaries)
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documents before submission
- Coordinate final bill approval and claim settlement
- Track claim status and resolve discrepancies or rejections
- Act as the single point of contact between hospital and TPAs/insurance companies
- Maintain strong working relationships with insurance representatives
- Stay updated on policy changes and TPA requirements
- Guide patients and attendants regarding cashless procedures and documentation
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, billing, and admission desks
- Communicate approval status, shortfalls, and exclusions clearly to patients
- Maintain records of cashless cases, approvals, and settlements
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and insurance guidelines
- Prepare daily/monthly cashless case reports
