Trainee Manager

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Manager to support branch operations and develop leadership capabilities through structured on-the-job training. The role is designed to prepare candidates for future managerial responsibilities by providing exposure to daily branch operations, team coordination, customer service excellence, and inventory management within Crumble’s production and retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Branch Manager and Shift Managers in overseeing daily branch operations.
  • Support staff supervision during shifts to ensure productivity, service quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Learn and implement company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.
  • Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety compliance across production and retail areas.
  • Assist in inventory tracking, stock handling, and product availability management.
  • Support shift handover coordination to maintain smooth workflow continuity.
  • Help address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when required.
  • Participate in staff coordination, attendance monitoring, and shift coverage planning.
  • Assist in tracking performance indicators such as sales targets, service standards, and operational KPIs.
  • Coordinate with central teams (HR, Operations, Supply Chain) when required.
  • Take initiative in learning leadership practices and supporting team engagement activities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 0–1 year of relevant experience in retail, bakery, restaurant, or FMCG operations (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of operations, customer service, and team coordination.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations (Excel, POS systems, or inventory tools).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
  • Strong learning attitude with leadership potential
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Development Opportunity

This role is part of a structured progression pathway and may lead to promotion into Shift Manager and future branch leadership roles based on performance and competency development

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month
