INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a
Trainee Payable Administrator
to join our Supply Chain team. This role is pivotal in overseeing and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, and Manufacturing industries. What You’ll Lead And Deliver

Manage and maintain the accounts payable ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Review, verify, and record vendor invoices in the system in a timely manner.

Collect and validate supporting documentation for all payment requests.

Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments.

Ensure on-time processing of vendor payments with the appropriate approval authorizations.

Resolve supplier account queries in a professional and timely manner.

Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements to maintain accurate records.

Set up and process new vendor accounts in the system.

Collaborate and liaise with internal departments and stakeholders to resolve invoice-related queries for smooth approval and payment processing.

Prepare and deliver regular management reports on accounts payable activities.

Provide ad hoc support and assistance to the finance team as required.
Requirements:
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

0 – 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.

Solid understanding of general ledger systems and accounts payable processes.

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and within a team.

Capability to analyze and interpret financial statements and related reports.

Willingness to learn, adapt, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Familiarity with ERP systems (preferred).
