Role Overview
The Trainee Product Marketing Engineer role is designed for Engineering graduates who have completed a master’s degree in marketing or have experience in marketing and want to build a career in technical product marketing, industry positioning, and product-focused communication - supporting AMT Electric’s product portfolio across switchgear, automation, lighting, and industrial electrical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing product-focused marketing materials, including brochures, catalogs, product sheets, and technical documentation.
- Support marketing campaigns and activities, such as exhibitions, customer engagement initiatives, technical events, product seminars, and webinars.
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend analysis to inform marketing and sales strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Technical teams to ensure consistent and accurate product messaging.
- Translate technical product features into clear commercial value propositions for marketing and customer-facing materials.
- Maintain and update product data sheets, catalogs, marketing documentation, and internal communication materials.
- Support the preparation of product presentations, training materials, and other customer-facing content.
- Assist sales teams in customer pitching activities and in developing new customer bases for product lines.
- Contribute to lifecycle cost analysis, ROI studies, and technical comparisons to support customer decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Required)
- Master’s degree in Marketing / MBA (Marketing)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to understand technical products and position them commercially
- Interest in product marketing within the electrical or industrial sector
- Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
