Role Overview

The Trainee Product Marketing Engineer role is designed for Engineering graduates who have completed a master’s degree in marketing or have experience in marketing and want to build a career in technical product marketing, industry positioning, and product-focused communication - supporting AMT Electric’s product portfolio across switchgear, automation, lighting, and industrial electrical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing product-focused marketing materials, including brochures, catalogs, product sheets, and technical documentation.
  • Support marketing campaigns and activities, such as exhibitions, customer engagement initiatives, technical events, product seminars, and webinars.
  • Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend analysis to inform marketing and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Technical teams to ensure consistent and accurate product messaging.
  • Translate technical product features into clear commercial value propositions for marketing and customer-facing materials.
  • Maintain and update product data sheets, catalogs, marketing documentation, and internal communication materials.
  • Support the preparation of product presentations, training materials, and other customer-facing content.
  • Assist sales teams in customer pitching activities and in developing new customer bases for product lines.
  • Contribute to lifecycle cost analysis, ROI studies, and technical comparisons to support customer decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Required)
  • Master’s degree in Marketing / MBA (Marketing)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to understand technical products and position them commercially
  • Interest in product marketing within the electrical or industrial sector
  • Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
