Together, we combine strong local capabilities with proven global railway expertise to enable efficient, safe and sustainable passenger and freight mobility on Egypt’s first High Speed Rail network. We are looking for transport and mobility professionals with substantial experience in railway operations and projects in Egypt or worldwide. Join us to deliver this landmark project in Cairo.

The Trainer Train Attendant (TA) is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for on-board service staff, ensuring they possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to deliver excellent customer service, maintain safety and security standards, and provide high-quality passenger care on high-speed trains.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver training programs for train attendants, ensuring their proficiency in providing exceptional service to passengers.
Create training materials, including presentations, handouts, and job aids, to support the learning process.
Conduct training sessions, both in classroom and on-the-job settings, to educate train attendants on safety procedures, customer service, emergency protocols, and company policies.
Assess train attendant performance through observations, simulations, and assessments, providing feedback and coaching for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with operational standards.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to incorporate into training programs.
Support the development and implementation of operational systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Assist in the evaluation and selection of training tools, technologies, and resources to enhance the learning experience.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages employee engagement, motivation, and professional growth.
Maintain training records, documentation, and reports to track attendance, progress, and training outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree/MBA in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Hospitality, Transportation).
Minimum 3 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the transportation industry or a related field.
Proven knowledge of all aspects of compliance related to train attendant operations and regulations.
Certification in adult training and development.
Affinity with train attendant responsibilities and the passenger railway industry is a plus.
Possess knowledge about train operations, customer service standards, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.

Good understanding of passenger railway business operations or equivalent industry knowledge to analyze and provide recommendations.

Proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and relevant IT systems, utilizing technology for data analysis and reporting.
Fluent in written and spoken English, facilitating effective communication.
Fluent in Arabic, enabling seamless communication with Arabic-speaking individuals.
