Position Title: Hospitality Training Specialist
Reports to: HR Training Manager
Supervises: N/A
Summary of Position:
Manages the design, planning, and implementation of training programs, policies, procedures and strategies that support the resort goals and objectives. Such as Customer Service and Hospitality.
- In conjunction with the Director of HR, determines a learning and training strategy that best meets
the educational needs of IMGR&C and the Mescalero Apache Tribe.
- Collects, organizes, and analyzes training needs information through questionnaires, interviews, and existing data to determine learning and developmental needs of all resort departments;
- Develops appropriate learning methodologies to address the educational needs of the team members and ensure the successful outcome of all training programs;
- Monitors and enhances effectiveness of IMGR&C new team member orientation;
- Designs and implements an evaluation program to determine the effectiveness of all training
Programs
- Develops a "train the trainer: program to coach selected "experts" m effective presentation
Strategies and techniques;
- Designs and implements a resort-wide management skills training program to include IMGR&C.
- Maintains certification for training products/courses purchased by the department;
- Adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and
- Actively participants in strategic planning and budgeting activities recommending programs that
meet company needs and support company goals;
- Prepares and monitors Provides management with accurate data regarding expenses.
- Oversees the daily operations of the training department, ensuring accurate, legal, and timely reporting as needed;
- Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and IMGR&C policies and procedures;

- Associates Degree in education, training, or other human resources related field of study from a two-year college or university; Or equivalent training in Human Resources.
- A member of the Mescalero Apache Tribe may agree in writing to complete the educational requirement at their own expense with the assistance of IMGR&C through the educational assistance program outlined in the Team Member handbook. Educational requirement that is not met in an agreed upon time is subject to a status change in
- Three (3) years training/education management experience in a hospitality/gaming company;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software to include Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint;
- Mescalero Apache Tribal preference, bicultural experience preferred;
- Must have negative drug/alcohol test;
- Satisfactory compliance with MATGC background
