Operational Responsibilities:

Supervise transformer oil filtration, dehydration, and degassing activities.

Ensure proper setup and operation of oil filtration machines (vacuum type / high-vacuum plants).

Monitor oil parameters such as BDV (Breakdown Voltage), moisture content, acidity, and IFT.

Maintain required oil temperature and vacuum levels during processing.
-
Ensure correct connection of hoses, valves, and filtration units to avoid contamination or leakage.

Coordinate oil filling during transformer installation or maintenance.
Safety & Compliance:

Enforce safety procedures and permit-to-work (PTW) systems.
-
Ensure use of PPE (gloves, goggles, safety shoes, etc.).

Follow electrical isolation and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
-
Prevent oil spillage and ensure environmental compliance.
-
Ensure adherence to company standards and client specifications.
Quality Control:

Conduct pre- and post-filtration oil sampling and testing.
-
Verify oil meets required standards (BDV value, moisture ppm, etc.).
-
Maintain filtration logs and test reports.
-
Ensure filtration continues until oil achieves acceptable parameters.
Team Supervision:

Lead and guide technicians and operators.
-
Allocate tasks and monitor workforce performance.
-
Provide on-site training for safe oil handling and filtration procedures.
-
Coordinate with site engineers and project managers.
Equipment Maintenance:

Inspect filtration machine condition before operation.
-
Ensure timely replacement of filters and maintenance of vacuum pumps.
-
Troubleshoot operational issues during filtration.
-
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare daily progress reports.
-
Record oil test results and machine parameters.
-
Report any abnormalities in transformer condition.
-
Submit final completion report after filtration work.
