Transport Supervisor

We are looking a Transport Supervisor for HTV & LTV vehicles, who can join immediately, to oversee daily transport operations for heavy and light trucks. This role ensures compliance with UAE traffic laws, RTA regulations, and safety standards.

The supervisor manages fleet operations and driver supervision, resolves disputes, manages driver grievances and leave requests, fines and ensures regulatory adherence across transport sectors, including logistics and general transport.

The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of permit types and application processes for all free zones, mainland areas, and emirates.

Location - ajman - UAE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESA. Operations & Fleet Management

• Oversee and schedule daily transport activities, including route planning, vehicle allocation, and driver assignments
• Monitor vehicle utilization and idle-time to optimize efficiency
• Ensure timely, safe, and efficient delivery of goods or passengers
• Maintain accurate records of trip activities, Etc.

B. Compliance & Safety (RTA/UAE Law)

• Ensure strict adherence to RTA regulations, UAE traffic laws, and vehicle safety standards
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance schedules are followed
• Verify all legal documentation: vehicle registration, insurance, driver licenses, and permits
• Ensure compliance & install and monitor tracking devices on vehicles as per RTA requirements
• C. Driver & Staff Supervision
• Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise drivers and transport staff
• Ensure drivers hold valid UAE driving licenses and RTA-required permits
• Conduct RTA-mandated training courses (defensive driving, safety awareness)
• Monitor driver behavior, fatigue management, and adherence to traffic rules
• Maintain driver files

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years in transportation/logistics operations
• 3-5+ years in a supervisory role for senior positions
• Experience with UAE transport operations and RTA regulations highly preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid UAE driving license (mandatory)

Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of UAE transport regulations, RTA policies, and traffic laws
• Fluency in English; Arabic is highly advantageous
• Knowledge of punjabi & Hindi or Urdu beneficial for driver communication
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
