Transport Supervisor

• Operational Management
• Supervise daily transport activities and dispatch schedules
• Assign routes and drivers based on delivery plans
• Monitor vehicle movement and ensure on-time performance
• Driver Supervision
• Manage and support drivers and transport staff
• Conduct briefings and performance evaluations
• Ensure drivers follow safety regulations and company policies
• Fleet Management
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and servicing schedules
• Coordinate repairs and breakdown assistance
• Ensure vehicles comply with legal and safety requirements
• Compliance & Safety
• Ensure adherence to transport laws and road safety standards
• Maintain proper documentation (licenses, insurance, permits)
• Investigate accidents or incidents and prepare reports
• Cost Control
• Monitor fuel consumption and transport expenses
• Optimize routes to reduce costs and delays
• Prepare transport budgets and expense reports
• Reporting & Coordination
• Maintain transport logs and performance records
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, or operations teams
• Report operational issues to management

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in transport or fleet supervision
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards
• Ability to use GPS tracking systems and transport management software
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
