Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level III NICU experience for a day shift travel assignment in Denver, CO.

Details

• Located in Denver, CO at an acute care hospital
• Respiratory Care Department supporting adult and neonatal/pediatric populations
• Level III NICU setting with additional PEDS support
• Equipment includes G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, V60/V30 ventilators specific to patient population
• EMR: Meditech (prior experience preferred)
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RRT license and certification required — license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in area of placement
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care NICU RRT hospital experience
• Level III NICU experience required
• Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (NRP must be current per American Academy of Pediatrics)
• AHA or ARC certifications accepted; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start of the assignment
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and date of birth (DOB) required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• One professional reference required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include airway management, ventilator management, and ED support
• PICU experience is preferred
• Prior Meditech experience is preferred
• Strong patient care and communication skills are a priority
• Local candidates are not accepted — no exceptions
