Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 18 months of recent ICU experience for a night shift position in a hospital setting with floating requirements across multiple facilities.

• Night shift hours, 3x12s, 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float coverage between multiple affiliated hospital campuses
• 13-week contract
• Cerner EMR; experience required

Requirements

• Active Indiana or Compact respiratory therapy license required (license required if applicable)
• Current RRT credential through NBRC required
• Current AHA or RQI certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Minimum 18 months of recent ICU experience (2 years total preferred)
• Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA
• 2 supervisor references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Additional Information

• Candidates must be comfortable with and aware of the every other weekend requirement prior to applying
• Indiana residents are considered local candidates; local candidates are accepted at a lower pay package for Allied positions
• Former permanent or PRN employees of the facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within this health system must take a consecutive break before returning: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break, in-state residents require a 180-day break
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
