Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in San Francisco requiring a CA RN license, strong orthopedic scrubbing experience, and the ability to both circulate and scrub across multiple surgical specialties.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Surgical specialties include Orthopedic (Joints), ENT, Ophthalmology, General, Endo/Laparoscopic, Gynecology, Plastics, and Podiatry
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
• Floating to other units and facilities within the health system is required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
• PDRN certification required
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
• Strong orthopedic scrubbing experience required
• Ability to both circulate and scrub, with particular proficiency in Ortho-Joints, Ortho, ENT, and Ophthalmology
• Experience in General, Endo/Lap, Gyn, Plastics, and Podiatry surgery required
• Proficiency in airway management and aseptic technique required

Additional Information

• Candidate must be prepared to scrub ortho cases as a primary responsibility
• Floating to other units and facilities within the health system is expected as needed
