Position Details:

Position: Full-Time Billing/Treatment Coordinator

Location: Split between Bonita and La Jolla, CA

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Compensation: $30–$33 per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities:

Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements with patients.

Verify dental insurance benefits and maximize insurance reimbursement.

Submit and follow up on insurance claims.

Post insurance and patient payments accurately.

Manage outstanding accounts receivable and collections.

Coordinate patient scheduling for treatment acceptance and continuity of care.

Answer patient questions regarding treatment, insurance coverage, and payment options.

Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to provide an outstanding patient experience.

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with office policies.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Dental Billing Coordinator, Treatment Coordinator, or in a similar dental administrative role.

Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and treatment presentation.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with dental practice management software is preferred.
