Tree Climber

Overview
We're looking for an experienced Tree Climber to join our full-time crew. You'll be an essential part of our field operations — ascending trees, executing precision cuts, and working safely alongside ground crew. If you love working outdoors, take pride in your work, and have hands-on climbing experience, we want to hear from you.

Duties

• Safely ascend trees using climbing gear, rigging techniques, and bucket trucks to perform pruning, trimming, and removal tasks.
• Use rigging equipment to carefully lower branches and debris, ensuring safety for yourself and team members.
• Operate bucket trucks and bucket operation equipment to reach high branches efficiently and securely.
• Follow all ANSI A300 pruning standards and company safety protocols
• Perform general landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, planting, mulching, and soil aeration to support healthy growth.
• Maintain and inspect climbing equipment before each use
• Communicate clearly with crew leads and clients on job sites

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional tree climbing experience
• Proficiency with chainsaw operation — both aerial and ground-level
• Strong understanding of rigging techniques and tree physics
• Ability to work safely at height in all conditions (heat, wind, rain)
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working on your feet all day
• Valid driver's license (CDL a plus but not required)
• Reliable transportation to job sites across Miami-Dade County
• Ability to pass a background check

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
