Trucking CSR Night Shift

We are seeking an experienced and highly proficient English-speaking CSR to join our dynamic night shift team, supporting our USA and Canada transportation campaign. In this dual-role position, you will be the critical link between our clients, carriers, and drivers, handling both sales support and dispatch operations during night hours. Your ability to communicate flawlessly, manage logistics in real-time, and drive customer satisfaction will ensure seamless 24/7 coverage for our North American operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service:

  • Handle inbound/outbound calls and emails from USA/Canada-based clients and carriers.
  • Provide rate quotes, negotiate spot rates, and secure freight bookings.
  • Manage customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of client retention.
  • Support the sales team with lead follow-ups, customer onboarding, and account management during night hours.
  • Update CRM and TMS with accurate customer and load information.

Dispatch & Operations:

  • Coordinate with truck drivers and carriers across USA/Canada for timely pick-up and delivery.
  • Track and monitor shipments in real-time using GPS and TMS platforms.
  • Proactively communicate delays, schedule changes, or issues to customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure all documentation (e.g., BOLs, rate confirmations) is completed accurately.
  • Handle emergency situations, breakdowns, or service failures during the shift.

Compliance & Communication:

  • Ensure compliance with USA/Canada transportation regulations (e.g., FMCSA, CCMTA).
  • Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Provide shift-end reports and handover to the day team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years in trucking dispatch, freight sales, or logistics customer service, specifically supporting USA and/or Canada markets.
  • Language: Excellent English proficiency (verbal and written) is mandatory. Clear accent, professional phone etiquette, and strong email communication skills.
  • Shift Flexibility: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (as per the defined timeline). Previous night shift experience is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Transportation Management Systems (TMS), CRM software, MS Office, and load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop).
  • Key Traits: Problem-solver, proactive, calm under pressure, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Geographic Knowledge: Understanding of USA/Canada geography, major highways, and shipping lanes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English + Spanish/French) is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with ELD (Electronic Logging Device) monitoring.
  • Formal education in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business.
