Trucking Dispatcher

Position Overview
Entry-level management role responsible for assigning loads, supporting drivers, and coordinating daily freight operations. Acts as the main point of contact between drivers, customers, and internal departments to ensure on-time, efficient service.

Key Duties

• Schedule and assign loads based on driver availability, HOS, and customer needs.
• Monitor driver progress, equipment status, and routing.
• Communicate with drivers and customers throughout the shift to resolve issues and ensure service expectations.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, data entry, and system updates.
• Coordinate with Maintenance on equipment repairs or availability concerns.
• Anticipate customer load demands and plan accordingly.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Excel and computer systems.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Experience in logistics, dispatching, or transportation systems.
• Knowledge of freight operations and supply chain basics.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $1,350.00 per week

Experience:

• Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
