We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tuition Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging curriculum, delivering effective instruction, and supporting the academic and social development of students across various age groups. Duties
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including Montessori methods if applicable.
- Deliver instruction in core subjects such as math, reading, and physical education, tailored to individual student needs.
- Manage classroom activities to foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Support early intervention initiatives and special education programs to assist children with diverse learning needs.
- Utilize assessment tools, including standardized testing, to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Engage in parent communication to discuss student progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that promotes child welfare and childcare best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management techniques, and educational activities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends, literacy education techniques, and Montessori methodologies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management, and classroom management strategies.
- Experience with curriculum development across various subjects such as math, literacy education, physical education, and special education.
- Familiarity with early intervention programs and experience working with students requiring additional support is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Background in early childhood education or related fields; certifications in preschool teaching or Montessori training are advantageous.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate innovative teaching methods like Montessori or other child-centered approaches.
