About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Upwork Bidder with proven experience in winning projects related to Digital Marketing and Website Development services. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying relevant projects on Upwork, submitting compelling proposals, communicating with clients, and converting leads into long-term clients.

You will work closely with the sales and delivery teams to ensure accurate project scoping, pricing, and smooth client onboarding. This is a performance-based role with strong earning potential and long-term growth opportunities for consistent performers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork related to:
  • Website Development (custom websites, ecommerce, landing pages)
  • Digital Marketing (SEO, paid ads, lead generation, social media marketing)
  • Write custom, high-converting proposals based on client requirements.
  • Communicate with potential clients via Upwork chat and calls to understand project needs.
  • Qualify leads based on scope, budget, timeline, and feasibility.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to finalize proposals, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Follow up with prospects to increase response and conversion rates.
  • Maintain accurate records of bids, conversations, and conversions in CRM or tracking sheets.
  • Convert qualified leads into signed projects and paying clients.
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly bidding and conversion targets.
  • Stay updated with Upwork policies, algorithm changes, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience as an Upwork Bidder or Business Development Executive.
  • Proven track record of winning projects on Upwork.
  • Strong understanding of Digital Marketing and Website Development services.
  • Experience bidding on services such as websites, SEO, paid ads, and social media marketing.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Strong proposal writing, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
  • Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into clear proposals.
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven, performance-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to work night shifts from the office (if required).
