Upwork Bidder / Online Business Development Executive

Location: Federal B Area, Karachi | Full-Time (Evening / Night Shift)

Functions Global is a fast-growing IT solutions company based in Pakistan. We specialize in AI Agent Development, Web Development, UI/UX Design, and Digital Marketing. We’re looking for an energetic and results-driven Upwork Bidder to join our team and help us win new projects on international freelance platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Search, identify, and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
• Craft winning proposals tailored to client needs and project requirements.
• Maintain strong follow-up with potential leads to convert them into successful projects.
• Coordinate with our internal technical teams to understand services, timelines, and pricing before sending proposals.
• Keep track of bids, conversions, and maintain reporting dashboards.
• Suggest strategies to improve bid success rate and client acquisition.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of proven experience as an Upwork Bidder / Business Development Executive on freelancing platforms.
• Strong understanding of IT services (Web Development, UI/UX, Digital Marketing, AI solutions).
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to write clear, persuasive proposals.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently during evening/night shifts.
• Familiarity with other platforms (Fiverr, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour) is a plus.
