Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Developer who can manage both Upwork and LinkedIn lead generation channels.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing persuasive proposals, identifying qualified clients, engaging through LinkedIn messages, and scheduling meetings for potential projects.

This role is focused on sales outreach and client conversion,The candidate should have strong communication skills, understand how to qualify leads, and be confident in representing the company in client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Upwork Bidding & Proposal Writing (Primary Focus)

  • Identify relevant projects matching our services (Web Development, SaaS,)
  • Write custom, persuasive proposals tailored to client requirements.
  • Maintain a daily bidding target and track responses to improve conversion rates.
  • Communicate with clients professionally to understand requirements and negotiate terms.
  • Keep detailed records of bids, messages, and responses in Sheets or CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with developers/designers to prepare technical or cost inputs for proposals

2. LinkedIn Outreach & Lead Generation

  • Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator to research and connect with target clients.
  • Write and send personalized messages to generate interest and start conversations.
  • Engage with client posts, reply to messages, and build long-term relationships.
  • Schedule discovery calls or project discussions for qualified leads.
  • Coordinate with the LinkedIn Specialist to ensure consistent communication and branding.

3. Client Follow-up & Onboarding

  • Follow up on warm leads from LinkedIn or Upwork to keep discussions active.
  • Assist in closing deals and help onboard new clients smoothly.
  • Maintain communication logs, status updates, and reports for all prospects.

4. Reporting & Tracking

  • Maintain organized sheets or CRM data for all outreach and proposals.
  • Prepare weekly performance summaries — proposals sent, leads generated, meetings booked, and deals closed.
  • Analyze what types of proposals or messages perform best and refine accordingly.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years+ of experience as an Upwork Bidder and LinkedIn Outreach Specialist.
  • Proven record of writing professional proposals and closing projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency is a must).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Upwork, and CRM tracking tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
  • Self-driven, consistent, and results-oriented personality.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
